A Walk in the Woods...

We've had quite a mild winter this year to say the least.  Instead of the typical snowfall and freezing temperatures, we've had fifty degree days with sunshine... Needless to say, it's been rather strange.  However, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful (and unusually rare) January day, so we headed out to our local state park with Vander, and took him on his first walk in the park.  The day was gorgeous and it was so nice to just stroll through the forest and soak up the sunshine.  Plus, it was so much fun to watch Vander experience the sights and smells of the woods for the first time! :)  Now, if only it could always be this warm in January! :)

A Day At the Park...

Vander had his first play date at the park shortly after we brought him home in early December... He had such fun running around, playing in such a big space, and posing pretty for the camera... In fact, he had so much fun that he pretty much wore himself out for the rest of the day! :)  Here's a few shots from our day at the park...

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas...

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!  Ours was wonderful!  It was spent with family and friends, consisted of lots of yummy food,  there was loads of laughter, and so much holiday cheer!  Isn't that was the holidays are all about?! :)
